From today, people in Dubai will be vaccinated free of charge with Pfizer and Bio-Tech vaccines. According to Arab media, the vaccine will be given to Emirati citizens and permanent residents.
According to Arab media, the UAE had earlier approved the free delivery of Chinese synoform vaccine to its citizens on December 9, after which it is the second vaccine to be provided free of cost to citizens.
According to UAE officials, the Chinese vaccine has been shown to be 86% effective against corona, while the results of two doses of Pfizer against corona have been found to be 95% effective.
