PARIS – French President Emmanuel Macron has examined optimistic for COVID-19, the presidential Elysee Palace introduced on Thursday.

It mentioned the president took a take a look at “as quickly as the primary signs appeared.” The temporary assertion didn’t say what signs Macron skilled.

It mentioned he would isolate himself for seven days. “He’ll proceed to work and care for his actions at a distance,” it added.

It was not instantly clear what contact tracing efforts have been in progress. Macron attended a European Union summit on the finish of final week, and he met Wednesday with the prime minister of Portugal. There was no instant remark from Portuguese officers.
