Fourteen people have been killed and more than 170 are missing after the Nanda Devi glacier erupted in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
According to foreign media, a horrific glacier eruption occurred in India in which more than 14 people have been confirmed dead so far.
Rescue teams are conducting a rescue operation in which more than 170 people are reported missing.
Emergency has been declared in the area while people have been evacuated from areas near the glacier.
It may be recalled that the incident took place yesterday in the Indian state of Uttarakhand where several bridges and roads were destroyed due to the eruption of Nandadevi Glacier.
The accident also reportedly damaged two power projects.
