27 countries united and took major action against Russia.
According to the foreign agency, the ambassadors of 27 EU countries have agreed to further sanctions against Russia in view of the situation of Russian blogger Alexei Navalny.
The foreign agency says European permanent representatives have imposed sanctions on those responsible for Alexei Navalny’s decision, accusing him of human rights abuses.
According to foreign media reports, the decision will be ratified by the European Council soon and new sanctions will be imposed on Russia after it is published in the official gazette.
It may be recalled that a political decision on further sanctions against Russia was agreed at the EU Ministerial Meeting on 22 February.
