An Indonesian airliner has gone missing shortly after takeoff.
According to the foreign news agency, the Boeing 737 of the private airline lost contact with the control tower 4 minutes after take off.
Authorities now fear the plane may have crashed.
The plane was carrying 50 passengers and 12 crew members, including seven children and three newborns.
The private airliner was en route from Jakarta to Ponti Yanke, Indonesia, and was at an altitude of more than 10,000 feet.
Aviation officials say a search for the plane is under way, but no final decision has been made.
