RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas – As President Donald Trump celebrated the border wall development, residents from throughout the Rio Grande Valley got here out to voice their opinion.
“I assist him and I feel he’s a very good president,” stated Raul Garcia, a President Donald Trump supporter.
President Trump supporters gathered Tuesday morning in McAllen, Texas.
Among the many crowd was Rio Grande Valley resident Elisa Rivera, who introduced her daughters to witness President Trump’s arrival.
“He’s actually standing for what the US stands for, and I feel folks don’t understand and I hope that they’ll actually see the reality,” Rivera stated.
The nonprofit group “La Union Del Pueblo Entero” or LUPE held a counter rally within the neighboring metropolis of San Juan.
“Theres so many different points that we’re combating for like schooling, like healthcare,” stated Daniel Diaz, Organizing Director for LUPE.
Former San Antonio Mayor And HUD Secretary Julian Castro was additionally in attendance, and stated the state wants to speculate extra within the Rio Grande Valley.
