SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Water System crews are working to restore a sewer spill on the South Facet.
The sewer spill occurred Sunday close to the 8500 block of Mission Parkway.
SAWS officers stated the sewer most important within the space ruptured and water is flowing into the San Antonio River.
The reason for the spill is undetermined however is probably going linked to the current moist climate over the weekend that “may have contributed to soil motion within the space,” based on SAWS.
Crews shall be working to cease the spill all through the evening and can proceed to research causes for the spill Monday morning.
