The Christian community in London could not celebrate Christmas this time

The Christian community in London, like other cities in the UK, could not celebrate Christmas this time.

According to foreign media, London has been placed in Tier Four due to which people are not allowed to meet each other and gatherings. Earlier, the government had given some facilities to the people to celebrate Christmas from December 23 to December 27. However, due to the increasing severity of the new form of corona virus, Tier Four has been implemented in many parts of the UK.

Every year the Christian community decorated their churches with electric lamps and lights. On the night of December 24 there were carol services and Christian songs were sung while on December 25 there were Christmas celebrations in which pastors and bishops told people about the life of Jesus. The largest Christmas celebration in East London was held every year at St. Andrew’s Church, Alfred, but no celebrations were held this year, although some churches have held online celebrations.
